SoRo Safe Streets
The Safe Streets Committee was formed to address speeding and other local street safety concerns. Elected officials met with SoRo residents and continue to hear our suggestions on how to make our streets safer for everyone.
The red and white SLOW DOWN signs you see around the neighbourhood is one of the City’s first initiatives. Chair, Tony Harold welcomes more volunteers and ideas to help with taking action.
Changing driving behaviour is up to each of us. If you slow down, so will the cars around you. After all, it is our kids who play here. Click below to read the Safe Streets Update.
