SoRo applied for the 2019 City of Pickering Community Grant which awards funds for activities, programs or initiatives that serve the residents of Pickering while creating a positive image of the city.
We received $2,800 being invested in
SoRo Good Neighbours Website Domain, Local Business Directory, Community Art Project and Informational Banners.

The Celebrating Sustainable Neighbourhoods (CSN) program is a City of Pickering initiative that focuses on connecting communities with activities that make Pickering a better place, environmentally, socially and economically.
In 2018, SoRo Good Neighbours was the chosen recipient of $10,000. We are thrilled to add more seating in Rick Hull Park as well as many more native trees and an
educational sign for our pollinator garden
